This time Cuervo y Sobrinos has the honor to participate as Title Sponsor to the 9th Milano-Sanremo's Cup, from March 11^th to March 13^th, an historic milestone because 2011 is the year of the 150^th anniversary of the Italian Unity (1861-2011). It is to mark this historic event that the President of Cuervo y Sobrinos Mr. Marzio Villa wanted to create the first edition of a "trophy Cuervo y Sobrinos" for the famous race "Milano-Sanremo". Mr. Villa, well-known collector of classic cars, will participate in the competition driving his Ace from 1955, a car with an important racing background. Driver and car are ready to take the challenge of the competition with elegance, style and fairplay.

The "Coppa Milano-Sanremo Trofeo Cuervo y Sobrinos" will take place from March 11 to 13 2011. A 800 km long route, through the Apennines, reaching the cities of Genoa and Turin, to finish at the famous Riviera dei Fiori ("coast of the flowers").
For the occasion of the 150^th anniversary of the Italian Unity, Cuervo y Sobrinos has created a special model Historiador Tricolore - "Unità d'Italia". This special edition of the Historiador Small Seconds model, displays the Italian flag and the dates of the anniversary (1861-2011) of the "Italian Unity" on the dial.
