Cuervo y Sobrinos opened a magnificent jewellery museum in Havana, the city in which the brand was founded at the end of the nineteenth century. The inauguration in July 2009 was an historic event: Cuervo y Sobrinos is in fact the first luxury brand to open a monobrand shop in Havana. The boutique, in a large premises called "El Reloj Cuervo y Sobrinos", occupies an emblematic 19th century building in the very central Calle Muralla, where the original boutique once lay. The space dedicated to sales, in which the collections of watch-making and written articles are exhibited, also houses a museum of antique pieces and an elegant bar. Standing out in this exquisitely Art Decó atmosphere is the original Cuervo y Sobrinos safe, transferred here from the old site in Calle San Rafael and perfectly in harmony with the current jeweller's environment.
