Cuervo y Sobrinos

Historiador

semanal

If there ever was a brand rich in tradition with a story to tell, that is Cuervo y Sobrinos. Even in its modern and innovative creations the company never loses sight of its origins and intense personality, a mix of exoticism and advanced Swiss technology. The Semanal Historiador is inspired by the most emblematic Cuervo y Sobrinos models dating back to the 40s, even though interpreted from a modern point of view. Not only in terms of design but also concerning the movement. Basically the original movement was created and then patented in 1944 by one of the most important manufacturers of Swiss movements of the period, who at that time worked exclusively for the Cuban house. Fully redesigned, engineered and manufactured using the best that technology can offer today, the calibre of the cys 2853 is handmade and it is a Cuervo y Sobrinos exclusive. The completion of this watch, furthermore, required more than two years of research and development. The finished result matches the copious effort behind it; thanks to its particular conception and the original graphics on its face, the semanal takes on the function of a diary in that it displays a set of very useful information such as date, day of the week, month and week of the year (hence the name semanal).
