Robusto

buceador manjuari

With its Robusto Buceador Manjuari, Cuervo y Sobrinos demonstrates maximum coherence with that which the Swiss brand with a Latin soul has offered up to the present today: respecting origins and valorising tradition combined with innovation and Swiss avant-garde technology.
This time to inspire the creative staff and maestro watchmakers of the brand with its international in Capolago (a small picturesque district to the south of Lugano in southern Switzerland), are the isle of Cuba itself, its fantastic sea and an endemic fish of extraordinary uniqueness: the ""Manjuari"". Even if a fish, its appearance brings a crocodile to mind straightaway. A unique being, in the same way as the new creation from Cuervo y Sobrinos is unique. Of prehistoric origin, the Manjuari the symbol of the Caribbean island and from now on it is also the name of the diver's watch par excellence by Cuervo y Sobrinos.
A lot is expected from a diver's watch the name of which represents a symbol of the Caribbean Sea dating back thousands of years. Indeed, the "Manjuari" is not just any watch. It is a strong, sporty watch able to reach very deep sea levels.
The inspiration based on the Manjuari is no coincidence; this fish of unique appearance is a rare, native species which all Cubans consider with sympathy and respect. In fact its particular and spectacular shape is engraved onto the Cuban one Peso coins.
The same engraving has been carried out by Cuervo y Sobrinos on each "Manjuari" watch.
Much responsibility has been clearly taken by Cuervo y Sobrinos when choosing a Cuban symbol to give a name to one of its creations. From the start of the creative process, the House from Cuba has set technical and aesthetic criteria of the highest level for such novelty.
The result is at the height of the preset objectives. Very pleasant in aesthetic terms, extremely comfortable to wear thanks to the very soft rubber strap, the "Manjuari" encompasses technical characteristics and avant-garde technologies: a modular case made of steel, titanium and rubber very high performance in terms of water resistance(1882 feet = almost 600 metres, where the ""1882"" also highlights the brand's year of foundation), screw crown, maximum legibility and movement with dual time zone. These are the main features of the "Manjuari", a "symbol" watch which transmits a unique emotion simply by wearing it on your wrist.
