Cuervo y Sobrinos unveil a new version of its popular divers’ watch, the Buceador Caribe ‘Pipin’ Edition. This limited edition has been designed in collaboration with Pipin Ferreras, the legendary Cuban free-diver, and friend of the brand. This new addition to the Buceador collection is dressed in green tones and enlivened with black, cream and orange accents. The watch has been released during the SIAR 2022 (Salón Internacional Alta Relojería México), the most important fair for the watch industry in Latin America, Pipin attended the exhibition and was also be available for media interviews.

The story
In 2021, Cuervo y Sobrinos announced a partnership with Cuban free-diver and multiple world record holder, Pipin Ferreras. Shortly thereafter, Pipin began working with the creative team at Cuervo y Sobrinos, developing a divers’ watch imbued with their shared appreciation of Cuban style.
Buceador is the Spanish word for 'diver', an apt name for a watch inspired by the Caribbean waters encircling the sun-kissed island Pipin calls home.
The Buceador Caribe ‘Pipin’ Edition features bold hour and minute hands which engage with highly legible indices. Both the hands and indices are treated with Super-LumiNova, enhancing readability in dim light. A central sweep seconds hand and date display complete the inventory of functions.
The big news is the metallic "Milanese" bracelet, Staib Germany. The bracelet has a very high quality and gives the Buceador Caribe a touch of luxurious flair. The metallic bracelet is available on stainless steel models and perfectly matches the design of the watch.
