The story
Cuervo y Sobrinos pays tribute to its inaugural Historiador model, released back in 1946.
The aptly-named Cronógrafo 1946, a modern-day chronograph, inspired by the past, features a becoming ‘panda’ style dial, executed in antique salmon with contrasting tobacco coloured counters.
The new Cronógrafo 1946 references the past, but is made for today.
Presented in a stainless steel case, the dial is dressed in antique salmon and incorporates tobacco hued, snailed counters that subscribe to the highly popular ‘panda’ style, much loved by watch aficionados.
A tachymeter scale frames the display while the period-inspired double curved sapphire crystal allows light to flood the dial, augmenting readability. A brown Louisiana alligator strap, featuring a matte finish, echoes the colour of the chronograph counters to deliver a harmonious appearance.

The new Cronógrafo 1946 is limited to just 100 pieces and represents a new chapter in the long and vibrant history of Cuervo y Sobrinos.
