Cuervo y Sobrinos opened a magnificent jewelry museum in La Habana, the city in which the brand was founded at the end of the nineteenth century. The inauguration in July 2009 was an historic event: Cuervo y Sobrinos is in fact the first luxury brand to open a mono-brand shop in La Habana. The boutique, in a large premises called “El Reloj Cuervo y Sobrinos” (The Watch Cuervo y Sobrinos), occupies an emblematic 19th century building in the very central Calle Muralla, where the original boutique once laid. The space dedicated to sales, in which the collections of watch-making and luxury writing products are exhibited, also houses a museum of antique pieces and an elegant bar. Standing out in this exquisitely Art Deco atmosphere is the original Cuervo y Sobrinos safe, transferred here from the old site in Calle San Rafael and perfectly in harmony with the current jeweler’s environment.
