Cuervo y Sobrinos has been for the last 3 years the official timekeeper of Cigar Smoking World Championship,
by participating to this very exclusive and unique event, the values and the original identity of the Brand stand out as a symbol
of true Latin lifestyle as well as its connection with the cigars’ world.
As every year the Grand Final took place in Split (Croatia), Mr. Marko Billic President of Cigar Club Mareva and his wonderful team skillfully have organized this competition.
The event hosted true cigar aficionados from many countries worldwide, over 100 competitors tried to win the first prize,
a precious Cuervo y Sobrinos timepiece Historiador 135° Aniversario steel version together with the Historiador 135° writing instruments limited edition roller ball pen,
tribute to the 135th Anniversary of our Brand and finally Mr. Alexander Shagai set a new world record in slow smoking and won Cuervo y Sobrinos prize with our compliments!
While Anastasiia Luzhynska was the slowest woman participant at the World Championship and she has been ever so proud to win our Cuervo y Sobrinos prize.
