XVII Encuentro Amigos de Partagás en Italia

Cuervo y Sobrinos is honored to support the XVII Encuentro Amigos de Partagas event every summer for the past 6 years, being one of the main sponsor.

June 29-30, July 1-2: four days of full immersion in the flavor and history of cigars; with events, seminars and tastings and great entertainment meetings.

40 countries in attendance with people coming from all over the world, the XVII Encuentro Amigos de Partagás en Italia became the second Habanos and Cuban culture event in the world, a great recognition for Francesco Minetti, President of the Cigar Club Don Alejandro Robaina and for all the members of the club.

Under the patronage of the embassy of Cuba in Italy the four days were full of meetings There was no shortage of seminars and tastings; before starting the first seminar, the video "La ruta del tabaco" was presented and the seminar was attended by Cuban Ambassador to Italy Mirtha Granda Averhoff.

The seminar was very actively attended by all present, with an interesting exchange of views and anecdotes about great Cuban excellences.

The atmosphere between typical music and characteristic tastings unites and brings together, with workshops to discover the cigar and its origins.

The 17th meeting closes with ever-increasing attendance, all attracted by the possibility of bringing together in the days of the event the pleasure of funo with that of discovering new realities.

On Saturday evening, "The Grand Gala Dinner" was held at the Lanciano Forum in Castelraimondo.

More than 270 participants, including numerous dignitaries, were presented with an exclusive commemorative kit containing several valuable items dear to aficionados including exclusive gifts.

 

Two Cuervo y Sobrinos watches were awarded for the prize raffle.

 

The evening was enlivened by the wonderful music of the great artists present, including Marcos Madrigal and Haila María Mompié "La Diva”, one of the many "Friends of the brand" who sported her Cuervo y Sobrinos Prominente Caramelo during her concert.

Each year a watch is also given to a prominent personality of the event, this year one Historiador San Rafael watch went on the wrist of Alberto Cappato, one of the journalists of the national television network Mediaset who is the correspondent of Latin American area.
